The MCV® Method
Visual Coherence Matrix

A structured system that treats personal image not as a matter of taste, but as a predictable discipline. When all four axes are aligned, you are perceived correctly — from the first seconds.

What Is the MCV® Method?

The MCV® method — Matricea de Coerență Vizuală in Romanian, Matrice di Coerenza Visiva in Italian, Visual Coherence Matrix in English — is a proprietary image consulting framework created by Aura Anghel.

The central premise: image is not a talent, an opinion, or a trend. It is a system that can be understood, structured, and applied. The MCV® method provides that structure through four interdependent axes that together form a complete picture of a person's visual presence.

"Image is not what you wear. It is what others read about you before you speak." — Aura Anghel

The method is used in Aura Anghel's 1:1 consultations and is the foundation of Luxury Academy®, the professional training program for image consultants.

The Four Axes of MCV®

Each axis addresses a different dimension of visual presence. All four must be aligned for the image to communicate coherently and consistently.

Axis I · Identity Core
Who you truly are
Values, personality, the non-negotiable essence that defines you. Image must confirm this identity — not contradict it.
An image that contradicts identity reads as performance. It costs energy and erodes trust. The Identity Core axis ensures the image starts from truth.
Axis II · Visual Architecture
What your body requires
Line, proportion, and color as a structural language. Not what is fashionable, but what creates coherence with your specific physical presence.
Includes color season analysis, body architecture, and the logic of proportion — applied as a system, not as isolated rules.
Axis III · Personal Brand Narrative
What you naturally communicate
Your role, your authority, your place in any room. The story your image tells before you say a word.
Particularly critical for professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone whose visibility directly affects their career or business.
Axis IV · Strategic Impact
What result you are aiming for
How your image serves your specific goals — professional advancement, credibility, transition, presence, or authority.
Image without a strategic direction is decoration. Axis IV transforms image into a tool with a measurable purpose.

Who Is the MCV® Method For?

The MCV® method is applied in two contexts:

1:1 private consultations — for individuals who want their image to reflect accurately who they are and support their professional and personal goals. This includes entrepreneurs, senior professionals, individuals in career transition, and anyone who feels their current image does not match their actual identity or ambition.

Professional training via Luxury Academy® — for hairstylists, makeup artists, stylists, photographers, beauty and fashion professionals, and anyone looking to build a career in image consulting with a rigorous, systematic method.

Luxury Academy® — Training Built on the MCV® Method

Luxury Academy® is the professional training program founded by Aura Anghel to transmit the MCV® method to the next generation of image consultants.

The program runs over 9 weekends (144 hours) in Brașov, Romania, entirely in person. It covers all four MCV® axes plus the business of image consulting: service design, pricing, positioning, client management, and the capstone project — a real consultation delivered under supervision.

Graduates receive a MCV® method certification from Luxury Academy®. The program is selective — candidates apply through a questionnaire that evaluates intent, not prior experience.
